Downtown Provo
The interesting thing about "downtown" Provo is that it seems to be spread out across the island, with small commercial pockets showing up democratically everywhere. There is a certain easygoing air about the arrangement of businesses on the island that makes it all the more fun to discover your favorite nooks and crannies. But the part of the island actually called "downtown" does offer special places to visit for shopping, dining and barhopping. These include the shops with wonderful local crafts and books on the islands. If your plans include furnishing your island home, go "downtown" for tropical furniture, linens and housewares. |
